April 2022 Highlights

Intro Sessions Continued

The Vinnies Youth Team continued to go around to all the schools for their Introduction session. Teaching them about what Vinnies is and what services Vinnies provide! The students thoroughly enjoyed learning a little bit about the organisation and are super excited to get onto the service projects in the second term.

Vinnies Leader’s Program 2022

The team got to run the first two sessions of the Auckland Vinnies Secondary School Council (AVSSC) Program. This has been a good space for the leaders to get to know each other and learn a bit about leadership. The Youth Team are looking forward to the camp that is coming up soon but also seeing these amazing young leaders’ journey throughout the year of 2022.

VILLAGE SATURDAYS @ VINNIES

It was a beautiful Saturday morning as this wonderful Aiga arrived @Vinnies Onehunga. The plan for the day was to spend the next 4 hours delivering kai to close to 200 homes and pre packing a couple of hundred packs of food.

These VINNIES VILLAGE Saturdays have become a real highlight. It is a gift for different aiga to be able to come together in solidarity to support one another, to live out our faith, to become more aware of the social struggles our whanau are struggling with. It is also so lovely just to sit down after the mahi, break bread and fellowship with one another.

Faafetai tele lava to all our amazing volunteers today!! We appreciate you all!!!

Faafetai Luseane and Jonnie for bringing your Aiga today. Always blessed by you. Thank you for bringing your Village 💙❤🙏
