December: Highlights

 Christmas Season at Vinnies!

December was a busy time for the team at the vinnies center. With preparations for the Christmas season and also the New Year, a lot of work was put in to different projects, events and initiatives. It couldn’t have been done without the help of our helpers and volunteers from all across Auckland. Below are just a few of the events that happened during the month:

Some of the Vinnies Team putting together the first 100 food parcels for families this Christmas

St Peters and Marists Christmas Tamariki Day for the Kids.

Ranui Caravan Park Christmas Fun Day lead by the leaders out West.

Final service at the Wesley Rest Home in Mt Eden for the year with a Xmas spin to it

Spending the day at Kohuora Correction Facility with the families visiting by making Xmas cards with them for their loved ones.

Our M25 music group at Mt Eden Countdown performing Christmas Carols to raise money for families during the Christmas season.

Christmas Eve service with the patients and nurses at the Auckland Hospital Chapel.
